This is a Sources Sought announcement, FA3022-20-Rekey, seeking responses in order to identify interested and capable vendors for potential participation in the Re-keying of Columbus AFB requirement.  The Infrastructure Flight of the 14th Contracting Squadron plans to establish a firm-fixed price design-build contract to provide all non-personal services, to include labor, equipment, materials and related items necessary to design a master key system compatible with current hardware and replace approximately 2,915 locksets.  See attached DRAFT Statement of Work (SOW) for details. Any questions, suggestions, comments or other information that vendor’s would like to submit to the Government for consideration should be included in the response. This is a unique requirement that requires alteration of real property and purchase of material from a specific manufacturer in order to be compatible with the current hardware at Columbus AFB, MS. The period of performance is TBD, and vendors are welcome to submit information for the Government’s consideration. This is not a formal request for quotes or proposals.

The designated NAICS code is 561662, with a size standard of $22,000,000. Vendors are welcome to submit information to the Government regarding consideration of other NAICS codes that may be more appropriate for this requirement.

Responses shall reference this Sources Sought announcement number, FA3022-20-Rekey, and shall include the following information:

  • Business Name
  • CAGE Code
  • Point of contact name, email address, and telephone and fax numbers
  • Business size and any/all socio-economic category(ies) for the identified NAICS code, including Small Business, HUBZone, 8(a), Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, Women-Owned Small Business, and Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business
  • Percentage of the work your company is able to perform for these services in the identified socio-economic categories.  Would your company team with another small business in order to meet the applicable subcontracting limitations of your socio-economic category(ies)?  The subcontracting limitations are outlined in FAR 52.219-3, 52.219-14, 52.219-27, 52.219-29, and/or 52.219-30, as appropriate.
