Legislative Information
The US Veterans Business Alliance (USVBA) places strong emphasis on all legislative matters that will ensure the success of both veteran and disabled veteran business owners. This is at both the state level (currently California only) and at the federal level. When the legislative matter doesn’t exist, the USVBA, through its two legislative committees, will take the necessary steps to formulate this legislative matter into a legislative bill and, working through legislators at either the state or federal level who are vet friendly and supportive of veteran/disabled veteran entrepreneurs, will take the necessary steps to ensure that this Legislative matter becomes law. This is why the USVBA has two legislative committees.
The State Legislative Committee handles all legislative matters dealing with veteran/disabled veteran businesses at the state level while the Federal Legislative Committee handles all legislative matters dealing with veteran/disabled veteran businesses at the federal level. Currently, the USVBA is the ONLY Veteran Business Organization (VBO) that offers this type of support to veteran/disabled veteran business owners. This is just one of the areas that puts the USVBA in a league of its own making it the premier organization that is truly dedicated to “empowering success” for veteran/disabled veteran business owners.
