Title: Sources Sought Notice for a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Contract for NOAA Weather Radio All Hazards Transmitter System Maintenance Services and Tower Space In The State of Georgia.

This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE; Market research purposes only, to be used for preliminary planning purposes. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS NOTICE. The intent of the announcement is to identify sources that are qualified Small Business concerns, including Small Business, Small Disadvantaged, Women Owned, and Veteran Owned firms for a new contract for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) National Weather Service (NWS) Southern Region.  Identified sources should be capable of performing the requirements described herein.  No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow up information requests.

The Government proposes to issue a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) type contract for this requirement. See the attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) for additional information.

The Government will issue a  contract for this requirement contingent upon funding. The term of the contract will be one (1) base year plus four (4) one-year option periods, for a total potential of five years.

The applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 811210 – Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance. The Small Business Size Standard for this acquisition is $34.0M.

A vendor’s response to this synopsis shall be limited to three pages and shall include the following information:

1. Firm’s name, address, point of contact, phone number, and email address.

2. Firm’s interest in bidding on the solicitation when it is issued.

3. Capabilities Statement addressing your firm’s capability to provide the following services: 

  1. Capability to service and maintain all four (4) locations listed in the PWS.
  2. Capability to meet the required service schedule.
  3. Capability in servicing and maintaining similar transmitters.

4. Firm’s type of business and business size.

5. Firm’s Joint Venture information, if applicable existing and potential.

Interested vendors shall respond to the Sources Sought Notice no later than April 24, 2024 at 2:00 PM (PST).
