The General Services Administration (GSA), Public Buildings Service (PBS), will be holding a Facilities Maintenance Industry Day for interested vendors seeking information regarding upcoming facilities management-related procurements in Regions 8, 9, 10, which are comprised of the following states:
- Region 8: Colorado, Montana, North Dakota and South Dakota, Utah and Wyoming
- Region 9: Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada
- Region 10: Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, Washington
The goal of this event is to inform the industry of GSA PBS’ initiative to utilize the GSA Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) – Facilities Category, Facilities Maintenance and Repair Subcategory (MAS-Facilities) for upcoming facilities management-related (custodial, operation & maintenance (O&M), combined facilities management (CFM), and elevator services) procurements.
The acquisition strategy for a number of upcoming procurements in Regions 8, 9, and 10 is to compete requirements to the maximum extent practicable, amongst MAS-Facilities vendors, utilizing best value selection procedures (technical and price factors considered), with the exception of services that are on the Procurement List maintained by the Committee for Purchase From People Who Are Blind or Severely Disabled (see FAR Subpart 8.7). In addition, utilization of small-business, in particular socioeconomic (8(a), HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned (SDVOSB), Women-Owned (WOSB)) concerns, will be a priority.
All interested vendors (small and large) are encouraged to attend this event. This event is not limited to current MAS-Facilities contract holders; vendors interested in becoming a MAS-Facilities contract holder are highly encouraged to also attend.

The Facilities Maintenance Industry Day will be held on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at 10:00am PDT (1:00pm EDT) through a Zoom platform.
It is anticipated that the event will last approximately two (2) hours.
