Request for Information
This is a Special Notice that is a request for Information (RFI) addressing the capability to provide an Leadership Training. This Special Notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes. It does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ) or Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFQ or RFP in the future. This RFI does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. The information provided in the RFI is subject to change and is not binding on the Government.
Responders are advised that FEMA will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in responding to the Request for Information.
STATEMENT OF WORK
- FEMA’s 2018-2022 Strategic Plan, Strategic Goal II. Ready the Nation for Catastrophic Disasters, Objective 2.1 Organize the “BEST” (Build, Empower, Sustain, and Train) scalable and capable incident workforce.
- Scope: This course is intended to help all employees develop the skills needed to manage and prioritize workflows, communicate both laterally and vertically with their teams, manage their time more effectively and empower employees to create their journey within the organization. Learning objectives include:
- Business Etiquette
- Time Management
- Productive Work Habits
- Making Themselves Indispensable
- Managing Up
The intent of hosting a regional delivery of Employee Development Training course is to provide FEMA Region 10 personnel with the tools necessary to improve their communication, whether laterally with their peers or vertically with their supervisors.
