This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Department of Veterans Affairs, James A. Haley, Tampa VA Medical Center has a need to procure a Refrigerated Mobile Morgue Trailer (ii) The combined synopsis solicitation number is 36C24820Q0802. It s issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 812220 Cemeterial and Mortuary Equipment and Supplies. Business size standard is $20.5 Million. (iii) This combined synopsis solicitation RFQ and the provisions and clauses incorporated are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-06 (5/06/2020). (iv) The combined synopsis solicitation is un-restricted. Note: Interested Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) and Veteran Owned Small businesses (VOSB). Interested parties shall be listed and registered in Vetbiz.gov to be considered for Award. (v) This combined synopsis solicitation is for the procurement of refrigerated mobile morgue trailer as specified in the Statement of Need. ITEM NUMBER DESCRIPTION OF SUPPLIES/SERVICES QTY UNIT 0001 Refrigerated Mobile Morgue Trailer 1 EA The evaluation of offers received in response to the solicitation will use a tiered or cascading order of precedence. Tiered evaluation of offers, also known as cascading evaluation of offers, is a procedure used in negotiated acquisitions when market research is inconclusive for justifying limiting competition to small business concerns or sub-categories of small business concerns.
