SOURCES SOUGHT (MARKET SURVEY) NOTICE:

The National Park Service, Contracting Operations Central, Ohio Major Acquisition Buying Office, is conducting a market survey to assist the Contracting Officer in determining contractor interest in and capability to perform a potential upcoming project for James A. Garfield National Historic Site in Lake County, OH.

SCOPE OF WORK: Work will consist of providing all labor, materials, tools, and other equipment necessary for the installation of an intrusion and fire alarm system at James A. Garfield National Historic Site. All specifications/drawings will be provided if/when the Government proceeds with a formal solicitation.

REFERENCE NUMBER: 140P6424B0008.

PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Anticipated to be between $250,000 and $500,000. Interested contractors should also consider their construction bonding capacities when responding.

TYPE OF CONTRACT & TIMELINE: Anticipated to be a firm-fixed price contract anticipated to be solicited in May 2024 and awarded to a prime contractor in June 2024 with performance to begin soon after award.

Construction Wage Rate Requirements for Lake County, OH will apply.

North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS code is 238210, and the size standard is $19.0M.

The Contracting Officer will make an acquisition strategy determination (including type of set-aside) based on the results of this market survey and other market research.

REGISTRATIONS: To be considered for a contract award, an offeror must have a Unique Entity ID and be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM) and have completed their Online Representations and Certifications by the time a solicitation closes. Offerors must also be a small business under the listed socio-economic categories under NAICS code 238210 to be considered/confirmed.

Any information submitted in response to this market survey is voluntary and all costs associated with providing information in response to this market survey shall be the responsibility of the contractor.
