Members, Supporters, and Friends,

USVBA has some great news to share with all of you. We are seeing a bright light at the end of the tunnel, and we are preparing to open back up! I’ll be sitting down with each of the chapter presidents to put together a plan to get us meeting back in person again.

During these difficult times, USVBA has worked hard behind the scenes to make sure we are providing value to both our members and sponsors, and I believe we’ve succeeded. You’ll see a big huge difference in our website on both structure and content (www.gousvba.org)! We’ve updated and reorganized the entire site to better serve our members by providing opportunities from our sponsors and others. We’ve established relationships with other organizations that can help start, sustain, and grow your business. We’ve improved the way that we communicate with our members, to ensure that you are kept informed of these opportunities. We’ve streamlined our membership dues to ensure they align with the value, and that you get what you pay for. We’ll continue to have the free membership, but there is so much more available with a paid membership that I can confidently say it is completely worth it, so check it out.

We’ll be continuing our monthly Zoom calls, as we think it is a tremendous way to gather people from different parts of the United States in one place and provide information from our sponsors, who are eager to bring our members into their supply chain. This month’s meeting will actually be focused on all the things USVBA has done to ensure that you are getting the information and services you need to be successful. Various board members will be providing brief synopsis of the work they’ve been doing to improve the organization. Everything from our legislative efforts to upcoming golf tournaments to our Keeping The Promise gala scheduled for May 2022.

We are proud to announce that we have a new board member, as well. The Vice President of Corporate Relations of the National Veteran Owned Business Association (NaVOBA) has joined us, and we continue to strengthen our relationship with her organization.

The Board of Directors remains very optimistic for the future of USVBA and our members. We’re looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible face-to-face!

Best,

Daniel Connor
President, USVBA
