WHAT:
Outreach Event for the new Southern California Consolidation Facility.
Project includes a building area of approximately 272,309 net useable square feet (nsf) which includes the following program areas: Light- and Medium-Duty Vehicle and Engine Emissions Testing, Heavy-duty Vehicle and Engine Emissions Testing/Portable Emissions Measurement Systems (PEMS)/On-board Diagnostics (OBD), Chemistry Laboratory, Offices, Shared Facilities and Visitor Center, Administrative Services, Shared Testing, and a Central Plant.
In addition, the project will include truck fueling, vehicle washes, loading dock, utility cart parking, cooling towers, emergency generator, fuel bus parking, liquid nitrogen storage tank, thermal energy storage tank, (not included in site area: hazardous material and fuel storage,) and site parking for visitors, staff and secure vehicle staging. The remaining site area consists of sidewalks, landscaping, fencing, and storm water management improvements.
