SOURCES SOUGHT: THIS NOTICE IS MARKET RESEARCH TO SUPPORT AWARD  OF A SOLE SOURCE PROJECT FOR TYPE C SERVICES FOR A ARCHITECT-ENGINEERING CONTRACT FOR REPAIR OF A FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM AT BLDG. 104 AT THE 186TH AIR REFUELING WING, MERIDIAN, MS 39307 – AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The 186th Air Refueling Wing (ARW), Mississippi intends to specify the below listed items as a portion of a larger construction contract to be executed at the 186th ARW, MS, of which Type A&B Architect-Engineering Services have already been performed by Waggoner Engineering, Inc of Jackson, MS. A determination by the Government to not compete this requirement between other A-E firms, for the specific services listed below, based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Reference FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements."

1) Contractor shall provide Non-Personal services for Type C Architectural &

Engineering Inspection Services for the repair of the fire suppression system –

MDVL192129 – for the addition to the AOG Facility at Bldg. 104, Project

#MDVL159104 for the MS ANG 186th Air Refueling Wing, located in Key Field,

MS, to include: labor, equipment, supplies, materials, testing, transportation, and

reproduction costs.

THIS NOTICE IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE AND NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. No solicitation will be available as these sole source services will be awarded to Waggoner Engineering, Inc. as a logical follow-on contract for Type C Services for Construction Projects on Key Field Air National Guard Base, Mississippi.

The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine the interest and capability of firms who believe they can provide services that are compatible with the Items above.   Vendors who offer the above items which can provide these services are invited to respond to this notice. Responses must include the following information:

(1) Identification of the contractor’s name and address.
(2) Narrative addressing how your product can perform the type of services listed above.
