THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY –   This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes – it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future.  Solicitations are not available at this time.  Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response.  This notice does not constitute a commitment by the United States Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever.  All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the United States Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the United States Government.  Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued.  If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the  It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement.


The U. S. Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) performing market research on behalf of the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Procurement (ODASA(P)) to identify capable sources that can provide the support services for a Content Management System. ODASA(P) is exploring options for CMS support services alternative to SharePoint.

The Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army (Procurement) (ODASA (P)) is exploring options for a contract to provide hosting, professional services, training, maintenance & technical support for an open source or Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) platform as a services (Paas) of software as a services (SaaS) web content management system (WCMS) solution.


Public Trust and criminal/background investigation is required. All contract employees must be eligible to be entered into DISS.


The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 541512 Computer System Design Services, with a Small Business Size Standard of $30M. Businesses of all sizes are encouraged to respond; however, each respondent must clearly identify their business size in their capabilities statement. If you would like to make a suggestion that another NAICS code be considered please state so in your response.


Interested parties are requested to submit a capabilities statement of no more than ten (10) pages in length in Times New Roman font of not less than 10 pitch. Training Solutions for the CMS and site hosting for training solutions

Can or has your company managed a task of this nature? If so, please provide details

What specific technical skills does your company possess which ensure capability to perform the tasks?

Please provide ROM for one year of support and detail what is included. Also, provide any published price lists and/or contract vehicles where the CMS is offered.
