Requirement for computer headsets with passive noise reduction with the following specifications:
– Dual, over-the-ear “ear muff style”
– Passive noise reduction only — solution shall not contain a noise-canceling functionality. “Active noise canceling is not authorized and shall be excluded from all results”
– Noise suppression with a documented noise reduction rating (NRR) of 15 decibels (15dB) or greater — this is a key performance parameter (KPP) and best-value criteria.
– Push-to-talk (PTT) capability physically wired in-line with the headset. PTT must operate through physical, not software, means
– Headset shall be wired; headset shall not have Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or other wireless capabilities
– Attached microphone
– Universal serial bus A (USB-A) or USB-C connector
