This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. This is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for quote (RFQ) and it does not obligate the Government to award a contract. Request for a solicitation will not receive a response. The purpose of this sources sought announcement is for market research to make the appropriate acquisition decision(s) and to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their Small Business Administration (SBA) size classification in relation to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 541350 Building Inspection Services.
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 22 is seeking a source to perform Semi-Annual Inspection & Certification of Elevators at/on identified facilities at/for the VA San Diego Healthcare System (VASDHCS) located at 3350 La Jolla Village Drive, San Diego, CA 92161. Contractor shall accomplish all tasks related to maintaining the systems in optimal functionality. Contractor shall provide all manner, means, methods, equipment, expertise, incidentals, labor, materials, parts, services, supervision, supplies, tools, transportation, and qualified personnel necessary to perform complete independent inspection and safety testing services on Government-owned Vertical Transportation Units (VTUs) which elevators, dumbwaiters, wheelchair lifts and cart lifts in accordance / compliance with current codes, directives, regulations, industry guidelines / standards, and this Statement of Work (SOW) at/for the VA San Diego Healthcare System. Furthermore, requirements include inspection, verification, and certification of annual and semi-annual inspection, safety tests, and 5-year load testing to ensure reliability and continuous safe operation of Government owned VTUs. Contractor shall meet any current or future requirement approvals or certifications as may be levied by applicable legal, regulatory, accrediting / governing body, and/or local / State / Federal requirements as required by law.

Provide evidence your firm can provide the requested service, to include past and/or current contracts for same services, and any other compelling evidence to help the Government determine your company s capabilities.
