This announcement is posted as a Request For Information (RFI) only for an intended upcoming solicitation that will be posted on the sam.gov website.  This RFI is being issued to examine alternative ways to provide reentry assistance to federal offenders who are nearing release in Hawaii.  The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) is exploring a work-release program for male and female federal offenders at an existing government owned federal correctional facility, specifically, the Federal Detention Center (FDC) located in Honolulu, Hawaii.  These services will provide much needed work release programs for federal offenders, which are currently not being provided in Hawaii.

Attached are the RFI document and draft Work-Release Statement of Work.
